Number & origin of respondents for the following 2023 Global Coworking Survey reports:

  • 2023 Profitability of Coworking Spaces

  • 2023 Ultimate Coworking Space Data

These reports considered only those individuals who claimed to represent a coworking space or flexible workspace. A total of 422 respondents met this criterion and their responses have been included in the report's analysis. The data was collected between February 9 and June 24, 2023.

For the purposes of this report, the final results from Germany and Switzerland were underweighted due to the high response rate from these countries, while responses from outside Europe were overweighted to better reflect the global reality with the same number of participating respondents.

After the weighting process, the following origins by continents are determined: Africa 2%, Asia 12%. Europe 49%, North America 29%, Oceania 5%, South America 4%. Hint: all results are rounded.

Without the weighting process, it would look the following: Africa 2%, Asia 9%, Europe 59%, North America 23%, Oceania 4%, South America 3%. If you feel your region is underrepresented, get notified and take the next survey.

The country or continent of the respondents is just one of many criteria that can influence the results. Keep in mind that a coworking space in New York City is likely to have more in common with a coworking space in Paris, Berlin or Singapore than with other coworking spaces along the Hudson River outside the metropolis.
